Steamroller Printing Press

They’ve done this annually for the last several years, using an actual steamroller to make huge prints by talented artists in San Antonio. They carve their art onto huge sheets of plywood which are then inked onto ginormous sheets of paper. The steamroller is the printing press.

There’s an art show with some of the prints through March 19 in the Singer Gallery at the Mizel Arts & Cultural Center in Denver. It’s free! Mon-Fri 9am – 4pm and Sunday 1pm – 4pm.
